Kate Hudson Shares Her Weight Watchers Experience After Giving Birth

Kate Hudson found a way to lose the extra pounds she gained during her third pregnancy, which is by becoming a celeb ambassador for Weight Watchers, now rebranded as WW.  It has been effective because the actress just revealed she’s a few pounds away from her goal weight, just 4 months after giving birth to her daughter, Rani Rose.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days Actress revealed that her target weight to lose when she joined WW was 25 pounds — a goal she hoped to reach by spring. She took to Instagram wearing her ‘Fabletics’ outfit to announce that she is almost there, but just a couple of pounds short.

Through her post and caption, she made it clear that her weight loss journey involved mostly having a disciplined lifestyle and not thinking too much about which food to avoid or how many hours to exercise. Instead of rushing towards her weight loss goal, Kate admitted she took her time and just followed the WW app she had.

To the delight of followers who wanted to know more about her weight loss journey, Kate shared details while praising WW all the way. She mentioned how thankful she was for being chosen as it’s ambassador, and said that the great thing about the WW app is that it’s easy as pie, plus you can eat pie, too, and other selections that are usually avoided when you’re on a diet.

But even if Kate’s experience was something positive and inspiring, she still received backlash, especially when she became a WW celebrity ambassador. Perhaps it’s because weight has never really been an issue for Kate, except for when she just had a baby. But the actress addressed this issue by saying that her focus is more on maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle, with weight loss just being a bonus goal.
