Tennis star Venus Williams is very familiar with business ventures, as she found success as an entrepreneur with her activewear brand, EleVen. The company manufactures tennis clothing and other performance women’s clothing for fitness, dance, yoga, and running. It’s not surprising when she announced a new partnership with self-care company Asutra.
It was announced that the tennis star will not just be a partial investor, but also the chief brand officer of Asutra. Williams chose the company after using and admiring one of its products in the past, Asutra’s pain relief cream. Tennis definitely takes a toll on the body and the brand’s product proved to be effective in alleviating Williams’ pains in the past.
The 7-time Grand Slam winner mentioned to Women’s Wear Daily that everything fits right with the partnership, since she is passionate about self care and wellness, and the brand’s focus are on those things. Asutra carries many products under their name, with most, if not all of them, have self-care purposes. They have skincare products, aromatherapy mists, yoga mat cleaners, and CBD creams.
Williams also mentioned how all of Asutra’s products are natural, something that aligns once again with her lifestyle. As a professional athlete, she uses and takes products that are beneficial to her health, especially ones that assist in making inflammation disappear.
Williams is very careful in choosing which companies to support, endorse, or partner with, as she wants her ideals to align with theirs. Asutra may not be that old, but it has continually expanded since it launched in 2015.
