Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa had Some Great Fashion & Style Tips to Share with their Kids

Mike, Lola, and Joaquin Consuelos have something to be thankful for, they have the best parents around, who can they turn to for advice, especially when it’s all about fashion, beauty, and style. Their last name is a well-known one, they are the beautiful children of the gorgeous couple Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, who have a long-standing and happy marriage.

The beautiful family sat down with People, since they were featured in the magazine’s Most Beautiful issue for 2019. When discussing beauty tips, Ripa reminded Lola of an advice she had given her daughter many years ago. It was simple and yet Ripa pointed out that it paid off. She reminded her only daughter to never touch her eyebrows.

A thick and well-groomed pair of eyebrows is what’s trending these days, even as some people with thin brows get them thickened with 3D Eyebrow Microblading. Since Lola followed her mother’s advice, she has retained a natural and thick set of eyebrows.

Nevertheless, not all of Ripa’s beauty advice has been followed. She asked Lola to get a bob, and she refused. The 17-year-old insisted it won’t be happening as he had one when she was 4 years old, and only then, it looked cute.

When it comes to the young men, 21-year-old Michael and 17-year-old Joaquin, it was their dad who taught them how to shave. There were times when fiascos happened, especially when they used their dad’s clothes without his permission. Michael once was caught wearing Mark’s denim jeans, because he washed and dried it immediately. Experts suggest that denim should be washed only after at least 5 wears, because the process will fade the dye.

Eyebrow maintenance, shaving tips, and denim washing aside, Mark and Kelly are very proud of how their three children turned out. The couple said all of them know that true beauty comes from the inside, however cliché it may sound. When asked about each child’s strongest trait, the pair said Michael is the most decent and kindest, Lola understands people and is the funniest, while Joaquin is the hardest working of the three. With regards to their fashion sense, it’s Joaquin they point to who has very little of it, and most likely to wear the same shirt repeatedly for 3 days.
